# Output Messages

These checkboxes control which output messages are output to the remote system via the serial/USB port and the Ethernet (assuming Ethernet is connected).

The $USRTH message is included for backward compatibility with legacy ROVL devices.

The $USTLC message is used by SonarView to visualize the location of the ROV on the SonarView map.
