# Battery for DIY Wi-Fi

{% hint style="info" %}
Cerulean does not offer batteries due to the difficulty in storing and shipping them.
{% endhint %}

If using a battery for Ethernet power injection, we recommend using a Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery rather than Lithium-Polymer (Li-Po) or other battery technologies.

The battery should be 14.8V nominal and at least 2000 mAH capacity. We supply an adapter for batteries with XT-60 output connectors in our POE kit.

We have tested the [battery shown below](https://web.archive.org/web/20250118061601/https://www.getfpv.com/zohd-lionpack-18650-4s1p-3500mah-14-8v-li-ion-battery.html) in our system, and it or an equivalent is a good choice.
