# Mechanical Mounting

The Insight 240 may be mounted in any orientation that has the sensors pointed toward the surface to be imaged (SonarView allows the image to be flipped). Shown below is the version with the optional mounting bracket and servo, with the mounting bracket below the sensors (left picture) and the mounting bracket above the sensors (right picture).

In SonarView, keep the box next to "Mirror Left/Right" unchecked if mounted in this orientation:

And check the box next to "Mirror Left/Right" if installed in this orientation:
