Wi-Fi Radio Option

A Wi-Fi option is available to be an access point for the Wi-Fi version of the Omnitrack. In addition to connecting the Wi-Fi Omnitrack into the network, other Wi-Fi devices such as laptops and wireless tablets can also connect to the network.

Adding the Wi-Fi options gives the Network Hub all of the capabilities of a BaseStation, plus network bridging, minus the internal battery. The internal battery is usually not required if you are using a laptop with a compliant USB-C port.

The Wi-Fi radio comes properly configured to be an access point for an Omnitrack system. If you want to change the radio configuration you can follow the instructions here.

Once connected, there is normally no configuration required to make the Wi-Fi Omnitrack work with the Network Hub.
