# Exporting Log Files

Not all software speaks the same file format. For interoperability, SonarView can convert its `.svlog` file format to a number of different other formats.

For a single file, open the file for replay and look in the left sidebar under the "Export" heading.

For many files, select multiple `.svlog` files or a folder containing such files, and drag onto the SonarView window. This will open the "Export Logfiles" view from which you can play or export such files.

The target formats available depend on what data is contained in the source svlog file.
