The Wi-Fi module provides a flexible method for the Omnitrack to communicate with the ROV network and the user laptop. It consists of the following:

A long-range Wi-Fi radio.
A 7 dBi gain Wi-Fi antenna.
A battery to power the Wi-Fi and the Omnitrack.
An external power switch.
A water-resistant enclosure (IP-65 rating).

The Wi-Fi module is not intended to be submerged.
