Provided external connections are a 4-pin JST-GH for connection to a Blue Robotics Ethernet Switch or RJ45 adapter, and spade connectors for connecting to power (10-30 Volts DC).
A converter is also provided for adapting from the 4-pin JST-GH to a standard RJ45.
Connection to the circuit board is made through a 4-pin JST-GH for ethernet and a pair of stripped wires for power. Pinout is shown below.
Omniscan FS internal connections to the circuit board are shown below.
And below are Omniscan SS connections to the circuit board.
Note: polarity of the transducer+ and transducer- wires is not critical.
When attaching the stripped wires to the circuit board, the wires are inserted one at a time into their respective connector. Press down on the button corresponding to the wire you wish to insert with either your finger or a flat-blade screwdriver, insert the wire until it stops, then let go of the button.
Note: previous versions of the transducer had red and black wires for the transducer signals. Connection to the PCB is show below. Removing the jacket from the transducer cable revels additional green and white wires. These have no connection, and are cut cut off when terminating the cable end.
