Multiple Omniscans

Let's walk through the process of setting up the configuration for two Omniscans at right angles to each other

1. Define Omniscans using the "Add Device" button. Because both are powered and connectable, I can see them in the "Discover Devices" button in the Device Editor window:

1. After selecting one of the available Omniscans, the fields autopopulate. You can manually enter the device data if you're setting up your session without your devices connected. I can configure the transducer angle to 90 degrees to let SonarView know the Omniscan is mounted facing starboard. Make sure to hit save:

The "Allow Doppler Mode" toggle should be left on unless you are using multiple Omniscans and want some of them to be unable to use Doppler mode.

1. Adding the other Omniscan with a transducer angle of 0 to let SonarView know it's facing forward:

1. Hit the "Add Session" button. Name the session and add both Omniscans to the session. Then hit save:

1. Once that's saved, you can exit Session Configurations and head over to Discovery. If both Omniscans are connected, you will see the session name you defined and be able to use the session:
