Omiscan 450 FS

The Omniscan 450 FS should be mounted in a horizontal orientation and angled downward at a nominal 20 degrees. This rendering shows the optional mounting bracket for the BlueROV.

Omniscan 450 SS

The Omniscan 450 SS transducer should also be mounted with at an approximately 20 degree downward angle. This image shows the transducer with a 3D printed adapter to achieve the downward angle on a small ASV hull.

Omniscan 450 Compact

The Omniscan 450 Compact can be mounted into the imaging sonar bay of most ROVs. It has a 10 degree downward facing angle built in, so while tilting down an additional 10 degrees is ideal, it is not absolutely necessary. Here it is shown attached to a Blueye imaging sonar mount.

The SS transducer contains long, thin, fragile ceramic elements. Be certain you do not bend the housing by lifting on the transducer or otherwise stressing the transducer!
