Connecting to the Tether Interface Power

The tether box power take-off is a small blue PCB with a USB type-B socket on one side and a USB type-A socket on the other. Carefully unscrew this board to expose the bottom side. Note there is a 3D-printed spacer under the board that keeps it from shorting out on the shelf. You will need to re-install this when yo put the PCB together again.
Cut the Ethernet switch's power cable, tin the ends, and solder it to the pins under the power take-off connector.
You need to figure out the polarity of the pins and the wires. If you aren't capable of doing this with a voltmeter you probably shouldn't be trying this conversion.
