Omniswitch Network Hub

The Omniswitch network hub provides the essential function of bridging various networks so the devices can all talk together. Typically these devices and networks includes an ROV tether network, a PC, and an Omnitrack, and possibly other items such as a Wi-Fi radio or second PC controlling payloads via Ethernet.

The Omniswitch can be powered directly from a PC via the USB-C port; from a battery bank (such as am iPhone external battery) via the USB-C port; or from a 2.1mm DC barrel input, either battery or wall wart.

The Omniswitch includes an internal Fathom-type interface for a BlueROV tether, a POE-enabled Binder 700 connector for an Omnitrack, a USB-C connector for PC connectivity, and two Ethernet RJ-45 ports that can optionally be strapped to supply 24V passive POE.
