The BlueBoat kit includes corrosion-resistant mounting hardware and an aluminum tube frame that keeps the GNSS compass and the ROVL transceiver or receiver rigidly connected and rigidly connected to the BlueBoat. The setup can be quickly removed from the BlueBoat or it can be folded with the BlueBoat itself for transport and storage. Additionally, if connected to the BlueBoat electronics, it can provide GPS position and heading to the BlueBoat autopilot, and the BlueBoat wireless network can be used to get data back to the ROV's topside tether interface for forwarding to the ROV.

It is not necessary to electrically connect the Omnitrack topside to the BlueBoat itself. It's possible to use the BlueBoat as a float only and connect the Omnitrack topside using the Wi-Fi module or a POE tether to the ROV's topside tether interface.

The BlueBoat or Blue Buoy are good alternatives if you will be moving your topside boat around and you want to tow the Omnitrack float device.
