Install Mounting Hardware

If you are going to use the lanyards to keep the clevis-2.5in parts attached to the system, bolt them to three of the ring-bushing-universal using the M4x12 flathead screws.

Using 3x M6x80 bolts, install 6x ring-bushing-universal in pairs in any three holes of life-ring-24in. Note the lanyards alternate sides of life-ring-24in. The side with two lanyards will become the "top" of the buoy. Tighten the bolts until the bushings don't spin freely but can still be turned using moderate hand torque.
