Mounting the Electronics Stack

The electronics stack can be mounted in a shared enclosure with other electronics, in a Blue Robotics 3” (or larger) enclosure, or in the optional Cerulean 300m Electronics Enclosure. Orientation of the stack is not important. The electronics dissipate roughly 5 watts of heat (another 3 watts or so goes into the water as acoustic energy), so a cooling path to water is strongly recommended. Mounting in a Cerulean 300m Enclosure or on a Blue Robotics 3” O-ring flange provides sufficient thermal conduction pathway to the water. Running the system out of water for long periods of time (30+ minutes) without some sort of cooling is not recommended.
